Can babies really die if they dont p**p?

I had a friend tell me that someone that she knows had a 10 month old baby that was sick with a fever for 4 days and no p**p. The mother was told to take the baby to the doctor, but she gave the baby meds. from the drug store and wanted to wait to see if the baby would get better from the fever and no p**p.The next day the Mother saw her child get no better, took her to the hospital to find that the baby had lock bals. The baby threw up p**p then died later that day. Can this really happen? But it's a true story.

Babies that are breast fed are expected not to p**p regularly. I know someone whos breast fed baby went 18 days without pooping!! If your baby is bottle fed, however, you should mix 1 tbs of brown sugar with 2oz of pedialyte.
That story that you told shouln't happen but if they don't p**p as long as I said above then you should feed them what i said above and in 2 hours........p**p!!
