Can bacteria actually become resistant to Dettol?

There is bacteria resistant to the strongest antibiotics (and as hospitals struggle to contain them with stuff stronger than dettol, presumably this too).

Hard to say how long it would take.

Though Dettol is a very good antiseptic agent.... its overuse may lead to the development of resistant strains..(posing problems in hospitals)

Infact overuse of any drug comes with the risk of creating resistant strains
