Can bacteria become resistant to alcohol?

  1. NO.

    Bacteria can and have become resistant to the antibiotics in antibacterial soaps, but cannot become resistant to alcohol. (The alcohol kills bacteria by dehydrating the bacterial cells as it evaporates.)  


  2. Yes... but only up to a lethal concentration.
