With airlines requiring that people now use the 3oz. clear containers. Is it possible for one to bring bar soap with them on vacation? New soap, in the box.

  1. I think so. When I was coming back from a place on a airplane I brought one of those little soaps they give you at the hotels and they had no problem with it.

  2. its probably okay unless you tend to try to hijack the plane with the bar of soap ;) <wink>

(one time someone carved a soap into a shape of  a gun)

(I remember a movie about that but i think they got caught

    case it was raining)

  3. Yes you can.  I took a few bars of soap with me when I studied abroad in Italy.

  4. Bar soap isn't in liquid form, shouldn't be a problem.

  5. The 3-1-1 (3oz of liquid, 1 quart bag, 1 bag per person) rule only applies to LIQUIDS.
