Can baseball finally get past the steroid era?

We have a lot of exciting players like Josh Hamilton, Evan Longoria, Tim Lincecum, Ryan Braun, Justin Morneau. Can baseball finally get past this era and become more respected and get more fans in? What are your thoughts about baseball turning the page on steroids?

I hope baseball can get past this era but it´s not that easy for the steroids-using players. My thoughts are that this era will never end. Unfortunately!

I think keeping Barry Bonds as far away from the game as possible is a good start.

I believe that we shall overcome this deplorable era, but there will always be a huge scar in the national pastime.  Such great names have fallen prey to the use of HGH and other drugs.  We will learn our lessons.

Sadly no it will take a long time before it goes away, I'm sadden by it because we have amazing players in Baseball and will be judge and be said of them and speculate they maybe take steroids , just becuase they are talented

The simple answer is no...

The damage caussed by baseball not setting it's foot down, is going to cause doubt about the validity of the sport. It isn't going to go away, untill baseball takes Mark McGuires records, Barry Bonds records, Sammy Sosas records. Roger Clemens records ECT...

Everything baseball has done in the last decade is a sham. Bud Selig has pretty well done his best to make sure the cheaters got rich and broke records to promote baseball. The owners and managers, and the comish, all knew the roid problem,

So as a fan of sports, how can we take our children to a game, when the chance that some players are cheating, still is happening. I am getting my nephew into hockey and nascar. Two sports that have less issues.

No, people who have no life are just going to continue picking away at little things such as the steroid era. When Sosa used a corked bat, I heard a lot of people just saying "baseball sucks. they all used corked bats" Just because of a couple of abusers, baseball will be tarnished forever.
