Can battery chargers be repaired?

My daughter dropped our canon battery charger out the window... from the second floor and it won't work anymore. I thought it was cheap but it's $36 plus. I didn't expect that. Do you think I can still have it repaired? The charger is for Canon PowerShot SD750. The charger's model is CB-2LV. Thanks for any help!
