When I took physiology in grad school, they said feelings of love can dilate your pupils.  Women used to use atropine, which artificially dilates pupils, to achieve the same effect when they went out with men... the professor added, "but if you looked at her and her pupils were like pin pricks, you were in trouble".  So yeah I would say there is some merit to that argument.

If you find a person attractive, your eyes will automatically dilate. This in turn will make you look more attractive because you will seem more receptive. The drug belladonna causes one's eyes to dilate, and the name belladonna means "beautiful woman." However, your eyes will not dilate for a long period of time just by looking at an attractive person.

I dont know about love dilating your pupils, but the pupil DOES ACTUALLY DILATE if you see something that you really want, that's a trick that some vendors use to know if they really can trick you into buying something.

dilating of eyes takes place as a responce to autonomus nervus system.

generally when u see any abnormal, surprising, dangerous u will get ur pupil dilated. this is just a natural thing. it happens with out ur notice.

so if u feel loving is dangerous or risky or feared about it then its true
