Can being overweight make your hcg level rise slowler than normal?

3 days late and all preg test are negative,just wondering with weight can make levels rise slower

  1. no.  hcg level is not produced by you.  It is produced by the growing ball of cells.  The cells double in size every couple of days and so HCG doubles every couple of days as well.  (Generally.  There is the rare occurence where it gets off to a slow start before starting to double.)

    ETA :  If you truelly believe you could be pregnant then try a test first thing in the morning when your urine will be at it's most concentrated..   If you continue to get negatives then get your doctor to do an hcg blood count if possible.

  3. I started out overweight and tested positive right away (day 29 or 30, I think).  However, being overweight can mess with your ovluation cycle, so if you ovulated later than expected then that might cause you to test negative later.
