Can being prego cause acne!?!? Im seeing those little red jerks!?

I am having an acne problem, and am prego. What can I use, my face WAS clear!!!! Could this even cause acne!? my face is sore and bumpy! I miss my clear skin!

i never had an acne problem till i got pregnant then it lasted the first 5 months what i was told by my Dr is to use Pro Active it is safe it has no acutane in it and you can also use Noxzema wipes your face will glow the only time i have ever saw a glow in anybody was right after i used pro active!!

Yes, it has something to do with your hormones.

I've gotten acne with all three pregnancies!  It usually clears up by the second trimester.  Ask your doctor what's safe to take.  I just use a acne face wash.

My friend had terrible acne during pregnancy too.  Worse than me poor thing!

its the hormones.. my face is so gross! dont uses any salicylic acid but i think benzoide peroxide is okay.. check with you doctor.. and you can try tea tree oil but other then that its hormone!!

wash you face daily and dont pick at them!! they will eventually go away

Yup. I had no zits ever until i got preggo.

Its just the hormones and everything.

Mine went away around 18 weeks.
