  1. No, please don't give your birds tea for the reasons others have stated.  If you're dying to give them a taste of liquid other than water, you might try juicing fresh fruit or veggies.  Freshly juiced carrots are full of Vitamin A.  Just be sure they always have a supply of fresh, clean water as well.

  2. NOOOOOOOOOOOi wouldnt even try nobady is makin them ice tea in the wild right?????

  3. Water is all that they need. Giving fruit might be your best choice such as an orange or watermelon in small portions just to name a few. Iced tea has caffeine. You definately do not want to give that to them.

  4. No. They cannot have anything with caffeine in it. Try natural fruit juices in small amounts. Orange juice, grape juice. Nothing with avocado in it as that is toxic.

  5. No, do not give them iced tea. If it has caffeine in it, it could kill them. Even if it doesn't, it still wouldn't be good for them. Birds should not be allowed to eat or drink sugary things; birds have high enough metabolisms already, and sugar will only make them hyper, and eventually sick--much like a little kid, except birds are more strongly affected because of their metabolism and small size. So birds most certainly should not drink fruit juice, which is full of sugar.

Even just eating actual fruits isn't necessary for a bird, as fruits don't contain enough nutrients to be a worthwhile food source. Fruits can still be a good treat, but only in small amounts.

The best thing to give to a bird to improve its health is fresh, clean veggies, like broccoli, cauliflower or carrots. They aren't like people, they don't need special drinks, clean water will do just fine.

  6. Bad idea, just let your bird have a bowl of clean, cool water at all times, his needs are few & easily met ,over enthusiastic moves could be dangerous, keep to a diet that is tried & true .

    Play safe .

  7. No, it's not good for them especially if it has caffeine in it, it can kill them.
