  1. i would think that if they were born blind then no. if they lost their sight at an early age then yes I think they would see their dreams. things that make you go hmmmmm?????

  2. wow, interesting you would think about that?  I wonder if a guy who speaks english can dream in spanish

  3. It depends if they ever saw or not.

Helen Keller recorded her dreams and describes colours and trees - just from the perspective of touch. It is a little incomprehensible to a sighted person.

A man I knew who lost his sight when he was four after drinking some cleaning fluid often has dreams of his wife and children. He says he can see them, even down to the clothes, eyes and hair colour.

Beethoven lost his hearing but often reported hearing orchestral music in his dreams - which he then wrote down.

    Edit

    @Hitchiker...

Yes someone who speaks one language can dream in another even if the never learned it. Your brain is cleverer than you imagine.

I think that might be how children learn to speak a first language...

  4. well because its their imagination they see what their mind make up

if they were blind from birth i have absolutely no idea

but if they went blind later in life then they have dreams because they see what theyve seen before

this is a guess but they might also just have auditory dreams

  5. No, they have nothing to compare too.

  6. ofcourse they do, but their dreams are based on what they have experienced which would be sounds, things they've tasted, things they've felt

unless they actually could see at some point of their life, as in had sight then lost it, then some of their dreams could be based on what they saw when they weren't blind.

  7. Yeah, intresting. I imagine everyone dreams because it is our emotions and subconscience making us dream, and everyone has that. I would think they would dream more about the feel of things, the taste, sound, just as they do in life. I wonder if they can imagine in their dreams the outline of a person, since they can feel it, maybe with their mind's eye they could bring it to life?

  8. yes, blind peopel do dream and in fact their dream is much stronger than normal people's dream.. they cannot see things in their dreams but they can hear, taste, smell and feel things better than a  normal person in their dreams~

  9. Your getting so many Negative comments ,, that's just Rude , I think you asked an interesting question ..

as for an answer .. I don't know if they do or not ,

it is an interesting thought , since a blind person cannot see can they see things in there dreams , I'm sure theirs Some Kind of dreaming maybe with out the sight smells , sounds, etc .. i think you'd have to ask someone who is blind .. if you ask it in a respectfully way i don't see why someone would be rude or upset with a honest question , when your just trying to enlighten yourself ,.

  10. thats soo mean !

    your dreams are your imagination.

  11. omg that's a good question. It's not mean!!!

    Yeah I don't know..

Maybe they dream about stuff but- I dont know! haha try wikipedia

  12. I don't think they can imagine such complex things since they didn't ever see one, im talking about the people who are born blind. So I don't think they can have dream....

    maybe you should ask them
