Or is too hot to grow bok choy right now? Should I wait until the fall?

I'm in Zone 4 .. but it's pretty hot right now.

  1. Absolutely.

I sow many of the cold weather crops now.  Broccoli and such.  I start them in trays, and transplant out in mid august.  They are maturing as the weather cools down - which they love.  They don't bolt, and seem to thrive even through light freezes.
