I think it helps.  People dog Lebron but the guy is extremely loyal.  People told him to dump his HS buddies who manage his public image, he didn't.  And he has some of the best advertisements of any player in the league.  Although he cursed his mother on national TV (lol), he supports her even though she is an alcohlic and been arrested repeadetly.  Its evident in the way he plays, its team first.  I don't see him bolting to NY just for his personal gain.

I think the cavs do have to do more to keep him there. But as long as they continuously make efforts to better the team.  He will support them.
