Can bouncing members harm a group?

Question

moderating in a group of over 2000 members, we have over 100 bouncing members ... so can this harm the group? I have sent many times the reactivation requests, but nothing seems to help, so is it better to remove the bouncing members?

they don't hurt a thing- nor can they post. more than likely they're dead e-mail addresses

It won't hurt anything, just leave them alone.
