  1. With the proper treatments it can be controlled there is a slight chance of healing them


  2. Typically not. They are not harmful unless they block a normal function of an organ they may have attached to. In rare cases that can happen and a surgeon has to go in and cut it.

    There has been products tried from time to time to inhibit the formation of adhesions but nothing really has become common use.

    Fact is that adhesions are something like an over active healing process. i wouldn't worry about them unless they cause a block of normal function.
