Can brown to dark brown people wear colorless loose powder

Question

i just started wearing makeup and someone told me that i needed something to help set the foundation...and then i looked it up and saw that they have colorless powder but its like a peachy beige color...will it be peachy or beige on my skin????

I have medium olive skin, and colorless powder looks very cakey on me.  The particles sit on top of my skin and look very strange.  I use Bare Minerals Mineral Veil.  It's very finely milled and invisible.  I use the clear one and you can too, but it comes in three or four shades now so you can find a colored one if you want.

Try Yellow Loose powder from Bobbi Brown .  It sets your make-up , even out dark skin tones ,

you should really just get some face primer. That helps the foundation last longer and set. It really makes all face makeup last longer. You really don't need powder to make your foundation set.....that's what face primer is for.
