Can budgies learn to talk at any age?

I'm going to buy 2 budgies and the oldest that they will be are 5 months and will probably be younger around 3 months will they be ably to talk? ( they will be males )

  2. They can pick up a few words here and there. But, if you have more than one, most likely he wont talk. Not impossible, but not likely.

  4. tehy younger u get them the better so maybe u will have a good chance i just bought a 1 year old hes a boy i hope he talks but i aint sure i talk to him every day and he sings along to music so funny x

  5. Actually Budgies are the best talkers. They have the biggest vocabulary when taught. Practice everyday with him and when your not home run a tape recorder with the words you want him to learn said over and over on it. Run this a few times a day. It may take awhile but soon your Budgie will be  trying to talk. Hint: Don't whistle at your bird that teaches him to want to whistle instead of talk.
