Can bugs fly at high altitudes? if not, why?

like, i never see bugs flying over 10 feet, why?

  1. Certain bugs can fly higher.   Some will stay lower due to wind currents and air temperatures


  2. Maybe because the partial pressure of oxygen is lower at higher altitudes and it is harder for the insects to uptake oxygen. And it takes a lot of oxygen to maintain the energetic costs of flight.

  3. cuz you are close to the ground... they are up there.
