Question:

Can burritos be brought on an airplane in a carryon?

Okay, so we're visiting California...and the burritos out here are AWESOME. We brought back some a few years ago, but regulations have become more strict. They'd just be plain cali burritos, no guac or sour cream (mainly because it could spoil and get soggy), but we want to bring some back for friends and for us. Anyone know if they could be brought home on a carryon? My boyfriend just called and the girl wouldn't give a direct answer. So, it doesn't seem like it would be a straight no. Any help???

  1. Yes, you can bring them in your carry on.  I suggest placing them in some kind of disposable plastic containers such as Glad Ware.  This will keep them from oozing into your bag as well as from getting squished.  It will also help contain the smell (some people like me are very sensitive to certain odors).

I brought home two Boston Market chicken sandwiches for my mom and my sister from Colorado.  The few Boston Markets we had in Tacoma, WA closed years ago.  It's torture on us to watch commericals for Boston Market on cable.  I'm in San Diego right now and there's a Boston Market a half mile away from where I'm staying.  I'll most likely bring home some more sandwiches for my mom and sister.  When my friend visits me she takes home Jumbo Jacks from Jack in the Box because they don't have any in Colorado where she now lives.

  2. Yes they can, however eating beans at high altitude can blow your @$$ apart.

  3. yes.

  4. Yes you  can.

But be careful not to upset your fellow passengers with the after effects of mexican food.
