Can car insurance be purchased monthly?

I have a car that's very temporary; I'd like to insurance only for a month or two. Is this doable in CT? If so, what companies would do it?

Some offer short term coverage.  A cheaper way might be to get a 6 month policy and then cancel it after a month.  They would refund the unused portion.

The only company that I know that writes a true monthly policy is Dairyland Insurance Company (Sentry Insurance

Products) and they do write insurance in CT.

i dont know what companies are in CT but just look in your phone books yellow pages, all the insurance companies will have ads and most will state options they offer. there are several companies that offer 1 mo policies
