I hear that casino card/table dealers in las vegas can make over 100k a year. So have anyone hear of any success stories as card dealers or valet persons in las vegas? I would like to hear your success stories and some inside secrets to become a lucrative card dealer in las vegas?

  1. I'm not a dealer but I don't think what that one individual said about dealing for high rollers is valid.  I have know a few dealers in my days, and how the tip system works is that all the tips get split among those dealers who are on the shift the tips are collected on.  So for example, if you tip your dealer $5, that dealer doesn't get that $5 but instead that $5 is split among all those on that shift.

  2. easily, i have a friend who was making over 85,000 annually an he was not working any overtime and actually took two and a half months off.  the big part was the tips and what tables you are at. he was at the $25 min bet table. on a shift he was making anywhere from $50 to $250.  basically non taxed.

  3. some of them do

  4. Yes they can, but these are the nights and weekend dealers at places like Bellagio, Caesar's Palace, Wynn, etc. These are very difficult jobs to get, and you can't really expect to make nearly that much if you're planning on becoming a dealer as a career.

  5. they can, only the dealer that deals for high rollers. they get tip after each game and since your dealing for high rollers you'll get a pretty decent tip

  6. According to this site, card dealer make less than what you heard.

  7. Their tips are too high. So probably some of them reach that amount.
