My cat is crazy. One second she's rubbin' on my leg, the next she hissing at me and running away from me like I'm gonna kill her. Nobody is mean to her.

  1. Ok well in my opion no they cant its just maybe when you want to hold her or him the cat is just not in the mood to be bothered im shure cats can get moody when something is bother him/her but you should try bonding with him/her a little more than im shure that wont happen :)

  2. I'm not sure but i know a cat with toretz so maybe

  3. Ok so to be sensitive to the possible seriousness of this question, I do believe cats truly can suffer from depression, anxiety, bi-polar disorder etc.

But on the lighter side, and a cat-owner myself, I think a cat's typical behavior is totally unbalanced.

  4. Being bipolar details a low lithium level. All mammals have lithium levels, so yes!

But my cat is the same way. She's just not very trusting so a lot of motions from you are taken as threatening by her. While I had my cat since the day she was born, some aren't as lucky to know if it's a problem from abuse or if she was just born that way.

    Just keep loving her!

  5. i'd say yes then. Your cat is Bi-polar
