Can cats fall in love with people?

Question

I have two cats and one is very sweet and caring while the other is kind of a loner. Its names are mitshu and sushi. everytime mitshu looks at me, it seems like he is winking at me in a seductive way and like to give massages and rub against people (the whole family),lol.

it sounds funny and weird, but why is he acting as if he is in love with us, while the other cat is more of a loner and does not act like he does(they are both brothers, but don juan (mitshu) is younger than the rebel (sushi).

in a good and healthy way, do cats fall in love with people when they are this cute, like mitshu is? so why if we give both cats the same attention amd care, why is one different than the other in caring ways?

haha of course cats can fall in love with people! Your other cat may love you too but just show it in a different way :) Cats are like people in that each one has its own distinct personality. Mitshu may show his love by purring and wanting attention, Sushi may show his love by using the litter box every time instead of your pillow. :) Just like some people like hugging people they love, others are happier with a simple compliment or practical gesture. Enjoy your cats' unique personalities!

I don't like it's a fall-in-love-want-to-get-married love, but I think it's a deep affection for the owner.  Animals have the capability to show affection, aggression, and even grief.  But I think that is as far as it goes.  Just my opinion.

I dont think cats fall in love with people in a romantic way but they do love their owners...even it they have an odd way of showing it.
