Can cats get milk if they are not the mother?

my had kittens and her kittens have been sucking on the mothers sister. and i was wondering if the sister could get milk?

  1. sister will only give milk if she is nursing, she would either need to be pregnant, or nursing her own kittens. other wise the kittens are just doing what their instincts tell them to do, find a nipple and suck.

    adult females that live together will babysit each others kittens, nursing moms will nurse each other kittens it is normal.

    if the sister does not have kittens, move the kittens back to mom when they nurse, or they could starve.


  2. If the sister had a litter of kittens and can nurse...

    If not, good pet food distributors sell kitten formula that you can feed your kittens with a needle-less syringe (in the side of their mouths- gently).  

  3. not unless the sister is also pregnant. or had/having babies.
