I have had my cats now for 6 years. They are brother and sister...They both have been indoor cats for that time. Clyde{the male cat} has had a prob with urinating on the floor for some time now. We put them in our upstairs bathroom. It is a big bathroom....plenty of toys and such for them to play with...he has started urinating on the floors again. I had to rip up the tiling...so I made the heartbreaking decision to bring them out to my moms house to stay in the barn. I am keeping them both together and bringing all their toys and such. But I am worried about them not getting their winter coats. Can someone please help me to get an answer to my question...

Thank You

Jana

  1. yes they do i have indoor cats and they always get their winter coat and they are 2 x older that yours

  2. I don't think you have anything to worry about at all....changing coats is a nature thing and it's automatic.  I'm sorry you had to move them to your mom's house, but you can visit them whenever you see your mom.  I do have to wonder tho if the vet could have helped about the urination problem without having to get rid of them.

  3. Did you take Clyde to the vet and have him checked for crystals or UTI? They will get winter coats but probably won't like the cold after being indoors for so many years.
