Can cavitiy feelings make your too become discolored?

About a year ago my tooth started to become discolored greysh/bluish.I had a cavitiy in it but it is filled.

It's only on the inner side of my mouth.

Same color the whole time.

pain occasionally, but not all the time nor severe.

Not sensitive to hot/cold.

my mom says that a few of hers done that and recently had dentist check up and he didnt say anything about it.

can fillings cause teeth to turn colors?

id really hate to get a root canal.

i cant go to the dentist tho.no insurence right now.in about 5 months.

Sounds like you have a cavity under your filling.
