Hi there, can anyone tell me, is it possible to redo cavity wall insulation after 25 years? I may just be getting older but the house could be warmer, It would help if I could eliminate cavity wall from the list of things to do.

  1. You can't get foam out.

and it does not settle down over the years

so unless it was not put in correctly in the first place, there is little you can do with it.

you could drill test holes to confrim its there!

  2. Depends upon what type of insulation was used. Not if it was foam. Yes if it was rockwool etc as they settle over a long period of time.
