Can chest width be increased through workout?

hi, i am male 25, i am very skinny 60kgs 5ft 9in, my chest is 33, hip is 34, i look very odd, i am very unhapy on this and it makes my confident going away day by day, i feel shy to go to beach or simming pool, even i fear to go to gym bcz of that, please help me, can i increse my chest by going to gym, plz suggest me

  3. Dont feel bad about this.You need to boost your self confidence.

    Even I had a similar problem. I have a very small extra bone in the foot below the ankle. For seven years i had little pain so i thought theres a fracture and i had low confidence and hence did not play and  other physical activities.now i approached a doctor and he said its normal.

    Push ups and chest fly will help you

  4. Yes definitely.. start with pushups, do Bench press... do as much reps as possible, eat properly with that.


  5. Yes, you can increase your chest width. Do chest workouts (i.e. flies, presses, push ups). It's not going to be easy and it will take a month or so to start noticing any results. But if you didn't put forth the effort, you'd be stuck with your "odd" chest for the rest of your life.
