I have 2 chickens which i have had since they were 2 weeks old and they live in a hut with a coop to run around in, I also have 3 rabbits and they live in hutches, but i want to give them a bit more excersise so i was wondering if i could put one of the rabbits in with the chickens for a few hours? ive searched on the internet and some people say its ok but some people say its not so i don't really know! So i just want to know if they can or not, and also if they can catch any diseases or anything from the chickens. Thanks x

  1. it should be okay, just dont put rabbits together unless u want a bunch of them.  monitor there temperment with one another for the first day or so to see how they react.

  2. im pretty sure they would be ok unless you had a male rabbit try to hump one of the chickens or something... (hey i had an un neutered male and he humped EVERYTHING!!!!!!)  or the chicks could be territorial or something and try to peck the rabbits, i would place them in the same pen with a barrier between them for the first few days

as for dieseasdes? i dont think so, as long as everyone is caught up on their shots they should be ok ^_^

    hope it works out!

    XOXOXO
