  1. yea

  2. Yes, but you must have a rooster, a hen that is broody and the eggs must be fertile.

  3. first you need a c**k to fertalize the eggs... ie a rooster

  4. yes

  5. As long as the weather doesnt get below freezing mine will hatch out chicks,once the eggs freeze they are no good.

  6. they can hatch them whenever they lay the eggs, but its not likely. they usually stop laying eggs for the winter. If they do lay eggs in the cooler weather, then they wont sit on them because they need to keep their heat to themselves. (save their energy)

  7. They will hatch any time of year except when it is very cold.

  8. I'm assuming you have a rooster or have access to one because without a rooster you will not get fertile eggs.

      Hens have to be about 6 months old before they even start laying provided you are feeding them Layer Crumbles.

       Chickens lay eggs all year long but tend to slack off alitle during molting (losing feathers. . . kinda like snakes shed their skin) and they slack during shorter daytimes (hens need a minimum of 15hrs of daylight to promote laying).

       Generally a hen will ONLY hatch out a clutch of eggs when she knows that she can sit on them for 3weeks and that they can be feathered out (generally in 6wks) to tough the fall and winter temps.

        It is possible that a hen might hatch out maybe 2 clutches of eggs but usually they only hatch out one a year.

  9. They can hatch anytime if they are kept warm enough;

    Meaning if the hens are kept in a heated coop.
