Can chinchillas be around "Oust air freshener" ?

Question

Well I'd like to use oust because it's a good brand and I like it's nice "outdoor scent". I want to know quickly. Best answer will be greatly praised!!!!

I have a chinchilla, and it started to smell bad, so, i sprayed air freshener and she's alright.

I have a bunny. And my vet said NEVER spray air freshener in the same room as the bunny. I'd suspect chinchillas would be in the same boat.

Animals like chinchillas usually suffer from upper respiratory problems.  You wont see signs of the problems til later.  Im sure you can get rid of the smell by cleaning their cage with vinegar and you can give your chinchilla a dust bath mixed with dry shampoo powder designed for rabbits.
