I took 150mg clomid for 7 days, and metformin. But on cd19 I started spotting. Now I'm on cd 22 and I'm still spotting. It's like a really light period. I'll spot a bit then it'll stop for awhile. It does this over and over. Sorry TMI! My dr isnt in today and I was just wondering if anyone has had this and what it could be? I dont think its a period cuz my temp didnt drop down below 98 degrees as it normally does. Its still slightly above 98 still. Any advice would be helpful. Thanx!

  1. I pray for you that it's a baby, However, that being said I have to tell you what happened to me and what my Dr said. I had a spotting period that was nothing but spotting every other day. Lightly and not enough to even mess a pad. It SCARED the mess out of me, I went to my dr and she did a transvaginal ultrasound and said that it's just the lining shedding. Your body only get's rid of what it needs to. Sometimes your period can last a week and be normal, sometimes just a few days of nothing but spotting. It depends on how much lining built up during that particular cycle she said. I am on Clomid and mine did the same thing, I was not pregnant, my body only got rid of what it needed and nothing more. She said it was perfectly normal.

  2. it could be implantation bleeding.

ovulation occurred around cd 17 or  maybe even sooner then that,  6-12 days later implantation occurs.  so cycle day 22 would be the estimated time of implantation. (6 days after)

baby dust. don't worry, the spotting can be good news.  the timing of the light bleeding is consistent with the estimation.
