I was wondering about this for a while, but I was wondering if it was possible to repair ur eyes (like say if you had bad vision) by keeping them closed for a month.

  1. No. The brain will eventually connect that eyes = no sight and begin ignoring the eyes, so you'd have temporarily weakened vision afterwards.

Closing the eyes (not for a month, for sure, but for short 10-15 minute breaks) can be a real help if you have dry eye, though. It protects against evaporation and irritation from wind, air conditioners, ect, and gives your eyes a little 'resting break' from a strained day.

  2. I don't think this has been studied.  But theoretically, this should make your vision worse when you unwrap your eyes  in a month.  Why? It's just like anything else, if you don't use it, you lose it!  After a long period (more than a month even) of not seeing anything, your brain and eye may lose the connections they have made becaues you are not stimulating the visual pathway.  This is my hypothesis based on how vision works.

  3. i doubt that would help
