  1. Call your local Dept. of Transportation, Motor Vehicles Testing Branch, and ask them.

    They will give you a "vision" test when you pass your written exam. to get your Learner's Licence. I do believe there is a "color-blind" test included in that vision test.

    The traffic lights are always designed  the same way, red light on top, amber light in the center, and green light on the bottom. Turning arrows are shaped like an arrow.

    Stop signs are octogonal, yield signs are triangular, warning signs are diamond shaped, regulatory signs are rectangular.

    They are all designed this way so that you can easily distinguish lights and signs ahead.

    I do believe that you can drive if you are color-blind, for the above reasons.
