Can computers lie? On my address browsing history it has links to over 30 p**n sites visited.?

My b/f swears he did not access these sites. Who is telling the truth, him or the computer?

yes they can, but only if your b-friend is a engineer.but to the defense of said b-friend, he could have open "sites" that were put into his history or the Friends that had links. is he the only one that has access to this comp?  who has his passwords? (i see this a lot, a buddy gives his buddy his passwords out like they are kool-aid then the next thing you know u are f---ked.). more than lkly he let some a$$ hole to use his e-mail account and then they porned the heck out of it.

his punishment should be... not to be allowed to play on comp. with out YOUR DIRECT SUPERVISION.

some times if you get pop ups for p**n sights they will register in your browser history..     but you dont usually get thos unless you are on some kind of p**n oriented sight..    but no it is not gonna say someting has been viewed that has not..

Yes, the computer is telling the truth.  Your browser keeps a record of the sites visited.  You have to go into Internet Option and delete cookies, delete files, and clear the history to get rid of that stuff.

Hate to muddle the argument but most likely your bf is lying. BUT, someone COULD be linking to your computer and using it to send spam, or any number of things. I believe I would scan it and make sure you don't have an unauthorized program installed on it.
