Is it possible that a condom can cause a UTI? If so is the brand or type of condom or just the chick's body in general? Is there any way to prevent this?

  1. I think that condoms with spermacide on them can cause more of a risk for UTI's. When I started having s*x, I ended up having about 5 UTI's in a year. I haven't had one since I switched from condoms with spermacide to ones without. Using lubrication helps to prevent them too as there is less friction-that's something my doctor told me.

  2. not really, but you can get one if you dont pee before you have s*x. thats how i get them. i always forget to pee and my doctor says thats how i get my UTI

  3. In general a condom should not cause a UTI if it is put on immediatly after takin out of the wrapper.

If the guy put the condom on a table or anything first, it could be possible that bacteria got onto the condom and therefore is in your v****a due to s*x.

UTI'S are mostly caused by a build up of natural bacteria or having s*x for the first time or having a new s*x partner.

There are many reasons. If you feel like you have one, go to your doctor! UT'S can be extremely painful so get medicine as soon as possiible

    =)

  4. Any activity can cause one.  Anytime there is bacteria you run a chance.
