Can contact precriptinos vary with different lenses?

the reason i ask is that ive been using frequency 55 toric, and tried b&l purevision toric but these didnt work for me. could it be that the prescription may have needed tweaking with these lenses to work efficiently or that theyre simply not the correct lens for me? thanks

    Yes...it could be either reason. If they weren't fitting as well, or wouldn't remain stable without rotating, then tweaking the Rx wouldn't help much though.

    Your Frequency 55 Torics are hard to beat for stability. They are always my first choice in fitting torics.

It may be differences in design or design tolerances that are causing you the problem.  I have heard before that Frequency is a very good toric lens.  (Apparently B&L make better progressives but that's beside the point).  As usual with these things it's best to speak to your eye doctor.  It could be as you say that the B&L lens just doesn't work for you.
