  1. Depends on the model.  The trainer model has full controls in both seats, while some 2 seaters dont. so yes and no.

  2. Yes. I assume you are talking about the 2 seat F16 used for training, not the regular one.

  3. The F-16 Fighting Falcon was not designe with a rear seat. If one is installed, it is primarily used as a passenger seat and has no access to the controls. The only action the occupant can do is EJECT!!

  4. i think....

  5. Good Lord...if you don't know, don't just answer for the d**n points.

YES, the F-16B/D can be flown from the rear seat.

  6. B models (two seat As) and D models (two seat Cs), at least to Block 32 had most of the controls in the back.  The backseat had a sequence handle for ejection (who commanded) and could be paddled off with the paddle at the base of the stick by the front seater -- other than that, full up Viper less about 1700 pounds of gas.

There were a few differences  in switchology and the DTC (Data Transfer Cartrigde) was front seat only.

  7. Yes, the 2-seat F-16 is used to train new pilots. The instructor flies the back seat, and the student flies the front seat. Most high-performance fighters use a 2-seat model to train new pilots.
