Can cops share personal driving records with non police officers?

  1. The answer is no. If I access the state computer system for personal information... Well I wont have a job the next day ad I may need to pay a bit of a fine.

    As far as public records, if I get the information because I know were to look, i.e. the courthouse, no its public record.


  2. yeah, i guess. when i got my first speeding ticket, he was like don't sweat it, i had my share. so yes, i guess it's ok. that cop even admitted he used to get speeding tickets before he was a cop when he gave me my speeding ticket.

  3. Cops can do whatever they want.

  4. No, not unless the subject it was shown to is a witness for an on going investigation and the information is credible for court purposes.

  6. In my state, driving records are public information (driving status, convictions, ect) So there wouldn't really  be a problem with an officer sharing that information.
