Question:

Can cornea cuts that arent healing affect your eye sight and does it require surgery?

i have a cut cornea and ulcer in my eye and some of the skin has been burned off my eye and i was just curious if this will affect my eye sight in the future i now have 20/20 well before i got chemicals sprayed in my eye but the doctor said this will be a long term healing process but he wont tell me if it will affect my vision in the future he just tells me that i wont be blind and he tells me it aint healing so do you think i will need surgery or what are the options thanks just me

  1. I seriously don't think anyone here could second guess your Opthalmologist who is treating you.

    Those are questions only he could answer. Being as it isn't healing surely complicates things.
