Can corporations such as nike sponsor public high school sports?

I am trying to raise money for high school softball and thought maybe Easton or Nike could help out.

It depends upon the school, the state and the nature of the donation. When I coached golf, we were not allowed to accept equipment for individual players, but COULD accept things that were used by the entire team.

Yes and they do all the time.  I am a booster with my old high school and they just signed a contract with Nike for uniforms and equipment.  you must go through the right channels.  First, check with the school board to make sure there wont be any objections.  Then contact the sponsor of your choice for more information.  It usually helps if you have a large program with a winning record.  The companies will want the recognition.
