  1. I say, if I had to shovel it, cow p**p would CREATE an energy crisis for me!  Why, I'd be exhausted before the wheelbarrow was full!  (wink, wink!)

  2. It worked for Mad Max and Thunderdome. Well, that was pigs but it's the same principle. I have seen real farms where methane from cow c**p is used to power the dairy pumps.

  3. Methane, methinks.

  4. No not possible, plus cows eat & use too much food & land.

The food crisis is worse than the energy crisis....

We won't even be able to afford cows.

  5. Ha HA, have youo ever driven near this farm?  No need to see it, your nose let's you kbow when you are near!!!   It stinks up a radius of at least 10 miles.  WHen you get within sight of the place you see these huge plastic bags filled with .....the stuff that breaks down into methane.  I sure would not want one of these near my house <Grin>  Just like I sure do not want a refinery near my house!!!

  6. might as well give shambo and his devoted followrs something usefull too do

  7. no

  8. First I would question the recycling process, if it is legitimate.  then why shouldn't we, and why stop there, use all human waste as well.

  9. It takes a lot of energy to feed livestock.  Cattle aren't running around fields eating grass that grows naturally -- they're fed with corn that is grown off-site and shipped many miles to their troughs.  Burning livestock c**p would not offset the energy required to maintain the animals.

An acre of corn yields far more food/energy than an acre of cattle and just look at the trouble corn-derived ethanol is getting us into.

  10. Makes sense; it was started with a bunch of bullshit, it may as well end the same way.

  11. Cow p**p, mmm, it could be worth looking into.

  12. A composting station in Milcrogys Huchabay Ridge, Texas facility under construction will house 916,000 gallon digesters which can process the manure  of 10,000 cows. The plant will be shipping natural gas (methane)...1 billion cubic feet of bio gas a year. Five Star digester cranks out 6.5 million kilowatt hours a year to power 600 homes.

  13. the size of the scotch ones we have could solve the worlds problems the amount they put away full of gas
