Question:

Can cyber dragon be special summoned when your oppenent attacks. it doesnt specify WHEN it can be summoned.?

i was dueling my friend and he special summoned cyber dragon(under the conditions it said, like when i have a monster and he has none) when i declared an attack. he usually finds loop holes in the game and its very annoying so i thought i would seek info about this. i do not want an answer if you dont know or you just tihnk. i want answers from someone who knows their stuff cause im about to be in a tournament.

  1. Your friend's 'loop holes' don't exist.

    Basically your friend = Cheater who doesn't want to lose

    Unless stated so on the card, the only time a monster can be summoned is during it's owner's turn.


  2. I laughed so hard at this question... I mean seriously, what makes someone think they can special summon a monster whenever they want?

  3. No, it can only be special summoned using it's effect during the Main Phase of the controller's turn.

  4. it can only be summoned during the main phase. that's usually when a monster is summoned, unless a card effect allows you to summon at any time (ultimate offering, birthright, call of the haunted, etc.). if cyber dragon could be summoned in the battle phase, it would say so on the card
