While on vacation, lightning struck my apartment building and caused a small fire. Luckily, nothing was damaged in my apartment, except that now, the color in both of my TVs is messed up. Can this be fixed, or will I need new TVs?

  1. Yes, it can probably be fixed. I remember when I had my old RCA CRT monitor TV the color would go out. It was expensive to fix it though, at the time I spent $200.

Anyways, they can be replaced and Good Luck!

  2. maybe you can try to set the TV to the factory settings, or you can try to unplug all the cables (including the power cable) and let it sit for a good couple of hours.

if those TVs are LCD, i believe that it would not be cost effective to try to change the panel.
