  1. Yes, especially with the technology which allows a person to video relay, e-mail, IM, texting as alternatives to speaking.(if they don't speak, although many do!)

They need to graduated from H.S, attend vocational or college and be persistent in their job search!

  2. Definitely ,the answer is YES,

like the word go ,action speak louder than voice for  any establishment to grow, what is require more is  the work than the talk,at least deaf, can still communicate through sign.most especially for a unidirectional duty, that would be preferable for them.

  3. ABSOLUTELY,At least here in America, the American Disability Act ensures they must be hired if the are the most qualified.

  4. Why not?  There's still plenty of ways that someone who is deaf/HOH can work in IT.....software developer, providing tech support via email, etc.

  5. Yes they can.  They can go to college just like everyone else.  Galludet it a good school for the deaf and I believe they offer degrees in the Computer  Technology field.  Many companies you work for have IM (instant messenger) to communicate with each other.  But the only thing that deaf people cant do that hearing people can do, is HEAR.  Good luck you can do it!
