Can degenerative disc disease cause head pain?

I have constant head pain on one side. Diagnosed with ddd a yr ago

  1. DDD is not a disease but part of the normal aging process. As we age the nice soft gel inside the discs between our vertebra dry out and the discs shrink. So by the time we are 65, we have no soft gel to cushion our moves. That is why you never see any middle age, or senior age Olympians. Some people go through this normal process with no pain whatsoever, while others have serious pain, why no one knows. Therefore if for example the DDD is in the neck, then yes, it could cause head pain. However I would see a Doctor just to make sure it is nothing else. Best of Luck

    Yes, it can. It wouldn't surprise me if you said you also felt dizzy at times.

    But a differential diagnosis will be much better at pinning down the exact cause.
