  1. no,but they can go to the paraolympics

  2. I don't think so. That's why there are Paralympic games a few days after the Olympic games. Paralympic games are meant for the disabled. It's just sad that Paralympic games do not get all the attention from the media that "normal" Olympic games get...

  3. Disabled people normally participate in the paralympics.

  4. the special olympics

  5. in the paralympics made for handicapped people

    not the olympics

  6. yes, there is one called the paraolymics, its pretty amazing really :)

  7. I think so, as there's this South African swimmer who's missing her leg below the knee, and there's a Polish ping-pong player with no forearm.

  8. wouldnt they take part in the paralympics?

  9. apparently there have been two people with disabilities compete in the summer olympic alongside the able bodied athletes, one was a table tennis player missing part of an arm... we saw footage of her here on Aussie tv last week... and I think the commentators mentioned that the other was a swimmer....

Most compete in the paraolympics however, which is held shortly after the summer olympics

  10. Yes, if they can qualify. I remember reading about a female runner a while back. She was legally blind.
