Can distilled water be used for watering plants?

We wish to recycle the water from our dehumidifier bucket, but wonder if the lack of minerals in the distilled water would make it useless for plants.

  1. it is stiil good to use the distilled water. just make sure you still give them the nutrients they need.


  2. It's fine... most of the mineral nutrients are coming from the soil.
