  1. Yes, the hormone doesn't go away right when you miscarry it takes weeks. So they'd check that. They'd do an ultrasound to confirm the miscarriage. If your in the process of bleeding they also check to see if your cervix is open. I know from having that horrible experience..

  2. Yes.. I get an ultrasound every month and so they would be able to tell for sure. If you don't get an ultrasound every timet there are signs of miscarriage for instance bleeding and cramping are some that is why it is so important to tell you doctor if you have any of those things when you go for your checkups

  3. Ya especially if you were already diagnosed pregnant. They will do an ultrasound to see if there is anything developing. If you are bleeding though, you should seek emergency medical attention.

  4. Yes they can, you would still have HCG in your system...good luck to you

  5. Yes they can.  They can tell with one or a series of blood tests or an ulrasound.

  6. yes, if you're worried about it make an appointment to see your Dr.  They will check for the baby's heartbeat.

  7. Do you mean can they tell later one, like months or years later?  I don't think so.  If you mean can they tell right away, of course.  If you were a few months pregnant and just miscarried they will be able to find HCG in your blood test.  In fact is you suspect a miscarriage you should see a doctor so that they can follow your HCG levels to be sure that they go all the way down, or they can do an ultrasound to be sure that there is nothing left inside you.
