Can dogs/puppies eat watermelon?

Would it make them sick or can it be given as a treat?

Ive given my miniature schnauzer watermelon quite a few times, and she seems to love it. Its never made her sick at all either.

My Cocker Spaniel eats watermelon all the time, if you are watching TV and have a piece on your fork, she will sneak n get it, and you will never know till you try to take a bite of an empty fork. lol

Mine has been eating it every few days since summer started...Not too much cause he'll get the runs but it's ok.

Dogs are not supposed to eat fruit or vegitables. it is hard for them to digest them. i hope this helped

My dogs love watermelon.  I wouldn't give to much though, I believe watermelon is a bit of a natural laxative...
